Don't Take Our Word For It...
"I recently used Quantum Travel for Cuba. I can't even begin to explain what an amazing experience it was. I have been all over the world but this was the first time in my life that I did not have to think about anything during my trip. Every single detail imaginable was taken care of by Rashid and his team. I can't wait to book my next adventure with Quantum Travel."

"My dream of 40 years finally was made possible by Quantum Travel and Rashid, through a wonderful and memorable 8 days tour of Havana, and a select few cities. With the expert guidance of the whole team at Quantum, I learned much history, experienced the country, its people, its culture, arts, and food. We were able to feel the warmth and vibrant life and music of Cubans because Quantum made it possible to do so without stress. They attended to every detail and performed as promised. Rashid's passion for Cuba is contagious and you will find yourself dancing salsa without realizing it!"

"Quantum Travel designed a travel package to Cuba for a group of friends and it was the most amazing experience. Every detail, from flight to food to tour bus and guides was taken care of and all I needed to do was enjoy my trip. Quantum Travel arranged for us to lodge in private homes and interact culturally with Cubans. I was so impressed that I have had Quantum arrange a trip to Quebec for my husband and I. I will never need to plan another trip now that I have found Quantum Travel."

Cuba is a country filled with cultural and historical significance

With increased tourism to the island, some of the qualities that make Cuba such an attractive destination will change. Be sure to take advantage of the amazing opportunity to go back in time, before modern life begins to spoil the untouched nature of Cuba.

HAVANA

Havana is the exuberant cultural, artistic, political and
commercial hub of Cuba. Enjoy salsa dancing, jazz music, the UNESCO world heritage sites of Old Havana, Revolution Square, Fusterlandia, an opportunity to ride in classic American cars from the 40s & 50s, Hemingway’s favorite haunts, and much more.

Learn about Cuban culture, economy and history from local
experts and interact with Cubans while staying in specially selected, beautifully renovated private homes.

VIÑALES & PINAR DEL RIO

Take a day trip to this rich tobacco-growing region, where you will visit a tobacco farm, learn how to roll cigars, and have a memorable lunch at an organic farm amid the spectacular limestone hills of Vinales.

CIENFUEGOS

En route to Trinidad, on the Caribbean coast, lies Cienfuegos, called the “pearl of the South” for the beauty and order of its French inspired architecture. Enjoy a rest stop and tour of the UNESCO world heritage protected city center.

TRINIDAD

Enjoy perfectly preserved, colonial Trinidad, a UNESCO world heritage site. This picturesque town has an excellent music scene as well as gorgeous natural surroundings. Nestled at the foot of the verdant Escambray mountains, Trinidad is adjacent to two amazing outdoor playgrounds: miles of hiking trails and waterfalls in the mountains and Playa Ancón, a sparkling white sand beach.

VARADERO

A favorite spot for ocean lovers! Valadero is home to some of Cuba's best beaches: Playa Caleta, Playa Valadero, and the Hicacos Peninsula. After you hit the beaches, enjoy a mojito at Josone Park or catch a dolphin show at Delfinario, a local marine mammal park.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why go to Cuba?

Cuba is a proud Carribean country with a dramatic history and refreshing culture that values art and music. Speaking with the friendly locals, you will discover the real Cuba for yourself. Many of our clients have stated that visiting Cuba was a life-changing experience for them that was both fun and insightful.  We refer to the country as a "walking museum", as there are 10 World Cultural Heritage sites to visit and remnants of the island's fascinating history everywhere. Legendary author Ernest Hemingway was so in love with the country (and its mojitos!) that it inspired him to write The Man and the Sea. So truly, the question is: "Why NOT Cuba?!"

  • Is it legal for Americans to travel to Cuba?

Since our tours operate under the general license of "Support for the Cuban People" category [31 CFR 515.574], we are legally allowed to take groups into the country.

  • Is Cuba safe? May I travel alone?

Yes! Cuba is considered one of the safest countries to travel to, for groups and solo travelers alike. However, many first time travelers to Cuba appreciate the services of an organized travel agency.

  • May I use my debit/credit cards in Cuba?

No. Only cash is accepted in Cuba, so you will need to ensure that you bring enough American dollars for your trip (we will recommend an amount depending on your tour) and exchange it to Cuba currency (CUC, Cuban convertible pesos) either at the airport when you arrive or ask a tour guide for other options.

  • Can I alter my itinerary?

Yes! We are happy to tailor your itinerary to suit your needs.

  • Do I need a Cuban visa?

Yes, a Cuban visa is required to enter the country. We will assist you with the easy procedure and ensure compliance with OFAC regulations.
